David Hite quickly gained status as a top-producing real estate broker in Hawaii when he joined the Doug Davis group in 2004. His 26 years of experience and detailed knowledge of the Oahu real estate market has resulted in over $80 million in closed sales during the past 4 years. A resident of Hawaii since 1965, his father was Chief Estate Planning Attorney for the State of Hawaii at Goodsill Anderson Quinn and Stifel—one of Hawaii’s most prestigious law firms. David has been married to his wife Melanie for 25 years and enjoys surfing in his spare time with his two teen-aged sons.
1965: David Hite's family moved to Hawaii
1974: Graduated from Kalani High School after attending Kahala Elementary and Kaimuki Intermediate
1977: Sold Office Products at the age of 21
1982: Obtained Hawaii Real Estate License
1982-1995: Project Sales: Royal Kuhio Condominiums, Imperial Hawaii Resort, Lawai Beach Resort--Kauai, Ocho Cascadas--Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

1995- 1997: Attended College of Legal Arts in Portland, Oregon.
1997: Obtained Oregon Real Estate License

2000: Relocated back to Honolulu and assisted in management of family estate consisting of an apartment
building and several condos, as well as residential real estate sales under the brokerage of Dale Ho &
Associates. Also, David worked as an independent contractor doing field inspection work of commercial and
residential properties throughout Oahu for mortgage and insurance companies.
July 2003: Joined the Doug Davis real estate team.
